So, I admit it. I’ve become a big Ted Dekker fan. Anyone else out there? Thr3e has been my favorite by far, I also loved the Circle Trilogy, cared slightly less for the Project Showdown series, and am currently reading Adam.
One problem I’ve noticed though is that reading books like Dekker’s that are incredibly suspenseful and exciting might be spoiling me a bit. Reading something like To Kill a Mockingbird has suddenly become a little less appealing. Something to think about at least.
Anyone have a good book suggestion? Leave a comment with your favorite book you’ve ever read. I need some recommendations
.
I haven’t read any Ted Dekker books yet, but I’m planning on reading Black after I finish the book I’m working on now. My sister Bluejane is kind of excited that I’m finally getting around to reading it.
As to books to suggest, one of my favorite series is The Lamb Among the Stars Series by Chris Walley. It is Christian Science Fiction. Here is a link to it’s Amazon.com page, if you’re interested:

You already listed Thr3e, which I would agree is one of the greatest thriller novels I’ve ever read (which come to think of isn’t that many). Try Hangman’s Curse by Frank Peretti.
You need to read skin it is way good
I am a big Ted Decker fan as well
Actually I read Skin as well too
. And I’ve read a few others. These were just the ones that made it into my stack. Thr3e is still my favorite
.
My favourite books is “God’s smuggler” by brother Andrew. It is so cool. The book has countless accounts of how God hand is so prevalent in even the hardest and most tariffing times! I am almost done reading it, Iv only read it on and off because I have so much school and debate but I really like the book.
I would highly recommend it!
God bless,

First off, I need to agree with Alex. God’s Smuggler was great! I need to read it again.
That was a great book!
Other book ideas…the Left Behind Series are really interesting! Those are by Tim LaHaye [I think that's how you spell it] and Jerry B. Jenkins. There’s also House by Frank Peretti and Ted DeKker.
Hope those help!
God bless,
~Laura
