Just so you know, I love using “…” and brackets. I don’t know if you’ve figured that out by now, but I thought I’d make sure we were all on the same page there. Good.

January 9th:
Patti played in her first ever Upward basketball game and was by far the cutest kid out there. She even had a bloody lip–how, we’re not quite sure, since we couldn’t ever remember any sort of contact that would have caused it other than herself just biting it 
. But she did great, and we had fun watching her.
But alas, the time for good friends to return home came that day as well. Danielle had to go home back to school and regular life. That was one awesome surprise, and if she plans on doing it again anytime in the next month or so that would be ridiculously awesome 
. For some reason I doubt it’ll happen in the next few months, but I can hope, right?

Today I heard something at church that I needed to hear. God has me right where He wants me. It doesn’t always feel like it. Because apparently I can become very discontent with where I am. I want to stop that. I want to be joyful wherever He puts me. Anyone else?

Yaaaaaaay!! Go Patti, go!!! I love how excited she gets whenever she talks about playing basketball… she looks like she’s having so much fun.
I like using “…” quite a lot, as well… (see??) although I’m not so sure about brackets… they’re just so far up and to the right of the keyboard.
(I do like to use parenthesis, though) 
Glad you got to spend time with your friend from CA… I’m sure you guys had a blast!
