FASA is over

July 27th, 2009 § 6

Well, last night the 2009 Fine Arts Summer Academy wrapped up with an amazing performance.  The whole thing went really well…but the audio/video recording didn’t do so well.  After the whole performance was over, we were all informed that something had gone wrong with the audio recording, and since there’s a possibility that the show will be televised at some point, it was a slight problem.  So we ended up re-recording/performing a large section of the show (which just so happened to be my favorite).   Anyways, it was lots of fun, now it’s all over, life is boring, I’m sad, blah blah blah.  Well, life isn’t boring, so I take that one back.  But I am sad it’s over.

Getting ready before the first performance on Saturday night.

Hannah and Jamie were a little crazy.

Beth.  Oh wait, you knew that already.

The whole crew.  Almost everyone in this picture was staying at the Whitworth’s house, minus one family.

Aw…all of us back together.

Beth, along with her beloved viola section.

Everyone on stage after reshooting songs at about 10:30 at night.

…hi…

Well, as you can see, it’s taken me a while to actually get on here and post.  I had lots of excuses:

1) I was lazy

2) I was too tired and had to sleep at some point

3) I didn’t want all of the amazing, incredible, fantastic messages to quit coming.

Okay, so I guess most of it was #3.

I kept checking back for new ones, re-reading old ones, and just feeling so blessed that God put you all in my life.  Thank you to each and every one of you who took the time to post something.  It was an awesome birthday present–one I’ll remember for a loooooong time.

And now, I realize this is a short post…but I have to get ready to head back to rehearsal.  Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone, and let you all know that I’ll start posting regularly on here soon.  So long for now!

A bit late….

Won’t it be funny when we’re all officially adults? ;-)

Teach us to make the days count.
Lead us in a better way,

Happy birthday, Toni!
